My name is Cheryl. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on June 27, 1972. I gave him up for adoption so he could have a better life than I could give him at that time. I wonder about him almost every day, especially on his birthday, and wonder how he is doing. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. I named this little boy Jason; my last name then was Witthuhn. He was adopted through Catholic Charities. Even if he doesn't want to meet me, I would like to know if he is well and happy, which is all I ever wanted for him.

I am a male adoptee born on June 13, 1973 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. I have been searching for my birth mother for several years now without any luck. My birth mother was born in 1954 in PEI and moved to NB with her parents. She left NB to come to Nova Scotia to give birth to me & returned to NB with parents to finish school. At the time of my birth, my birth aunt lived in NS. I was adopted in New Glasgow, NS. My birth mother was 19 & birth father 21. He was Ukrainian. My name on my adoption papers was Louis Joseph Grady. I believe my birth mother's name was Mary Grady. Anyone with any info, please contact me. Thanks very much!

I am looking for my b-mother and father. I was born Jan 10, 1980 in Coon Rapid, MN at Anoka-Ramsey Hospital. My a-parents were specially chosen because they lived in the country and are of the Lutheran religion. The adoption was finalized in Dec of 1979. I didn't arrive at my a-parents home until March 26, 1980. The only other piece of info I have is that my birth mother lived in or around Cambridge, MN at the time of my birth. I have had problems getting info from my a-parents, and I have had little luck getting my original birth certificate. If anyone has any info or helping advice, it would be appreciated. Please contact me.

Sadly to say, my husband is dying of cancer. He is in the final stages and his happiness wish is that I have an update on the baby boy I gave up on Sept.7, 1962 in the state of New Jersey. I sent for the non-identifying information in Burlington, N.J. where the records are, but they are not allowed to give out information. The lady is trying to locate the family for an update, not a reunion, but she cannot find any family left in N.J. All I want to know is if he is alive and living a good life. I don't want to interfere. I have registered all over the internet and nothing. He either doesn't want to know about his heritage or he doesn't know he was adopted. They say his adopted name is Robert Joseph, and he was adopted on June 5, 1964. His mother's name is Dorothy, and his father's name is David. I also have reason to believe that they changed his date of birth to Sept. 27, 1962. I am so sorry I gave him up, but I was only 17 and couldn't take care of him. Thank you. Janice Engeland, Savannah, GA

My name is Mark, and I was born on June 10, 1967 in Lansdale, PA. I am trying to find any biological family who can help me with a family history. I have a child who has had many learning disabilities and would like to be able to see if they somehow came genetically. Contact me.

I am looking for my brother given up for adoption when he was born. I believe it was June, and the year was l952. I know that he was given up to people in Perry, Oklahoma, but that is all the information that I have. We have the same mother and father, and I would love to find him as I have no other siblings. I know that an adoption record exists is Perry, Oklahoma at the above time and am trying to get the judge to open the records but have not had a response as of yet. If anyone has information, I would greatly appreciate it; please contact me. The name at the time of his birth would have been Mcgowan.

Inspiring Gift

Dear special child in our life,
that shares our joys and each smile,
you keep our tender hearts so pure,
And childlike all the while!

The value of your life,
Is more than you may know!
Because of your sweet presence,
Faith, love and hope continue to grow!

We will always be in your life,
to share friendship, dreams and prayers;
It is a privilege to love you,
And tend to all your cares!

All the mysteries in life could never quite compare,
to the blessings and lessons
You have taught us and shared.

Gratitude for you in our life
grows deeper in many ways;
You are an inspiring gift from God,
We thank Him through the days!
